program
The workshop aims to gather researchers, young and senior, and students, from different universities and different departments, to discuss the mathematical basis of the quantum stochastic methods and approaches to open quantum systems, and show applications of such methods or open systems to foster new research and collaborations among different, yet very close, fields.
It will be organized as follows. The mornings of both days will be dedicated to mathematical foundations, starting with a lecture and then one talk and a round table. The afternoons will be dedicated to applications to different fields, with shorter talks and speakers from physics, chemistry and information engineering.
The last slot of the afternoon will be dedicated to a round table, in particular aiming at presenting the contributions of PhD students. Time will be given in the final part of the afternoon (during the round table and after), during the coffee breaks, social dinner and aperitif to allow for informal discussions among the participants, exchange of ideas and sharing of expertise.
Mathematics - Physics - Information - Chemistry - Contributed talks
Conference - Conference Room 3 - Building V Department of Mechanical Engineering (Via Venezia, 1, PD).
