Jody grew up in Northwest Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. Jody has always been interested in exercise and helping others reach their goals. Jody is a certified personal trainer and a certified group exercise instructor. He is a gym owner in Northwest Arkansas where he specializes in training athletes for competition.
Jody’s passion for fitness goes beyond the gym. He is a race fanatic and has completed over one hundred 5K and 10K races and multiple marathons and adventure races. He has completed over 50 triathlons. When Jody isn’t racing or training he is competing in fitness competitions. He placed first in the master’s category in Arkansas for 2016 Crossfit Open. He is the w e of the Pro Course Challenge and placed third overall in MIT P al Challenge adventure race. In 2015, Jody won the toberfest Crossfit Competition for his age group.
