Hi, Just recently setup the workout playlist for my iwatch but when I start a workout routine on my iwatch it does not automatically start playing. I do have my AirPods connected and can manually play the playlist using the music app on the iwatch. I do you have the fitness plus subscription so I tried the Time to Walk workout and I do get the audio ok with my Apple AirPods. Any ideas on how I can get this working?
Checked the software updates for both the watch and the phone and the latest has been installed. I then unpaired the watch and then paired it back again loading the latest saved iwatch backup. Now the workout playlist is working ok. Thanks Moonj for your suggestion!

Ideally, we'd don pastel spandex and break into synchronized aerobic moves for this energetic song. The uptempo dance track, off 1984's Purple Rain, has synth-pop, dramatic lyrics and funky breakdowns aplenty, making us the star of our own '80s workout montage whenever it comes up on our playlist.
Literally had about three workouts which were just Wonderful Life played over and over again for 90 minutes. Back when it came out. Such a tune and I love how it celebrates life's simple pleasures. Really makes me feel happy
Happy song live at Reading 2015 is also brilliant. The crowd goes absolutely nuts for it. That was a pivotal moment for the band. The Diamonds Aren't Forever intro for the times they played it in 2019 really gets me going too. The chant over the screen, and the dancers lined up. You just want to mosh so hard. Have actively sourced out both live songs near the end of a workout for that extra hit
Sting is classic, and while a man known for his stamina belongs on any gym playlist, this maybe isn't the best workout song. That said, it certainly does sound like something Olivia might jog to on Scandal.
Omg girl we could swap ipods! Love your list! About a month ago I posted a recent playlist of mine. For me, the more raunchy, the better when it comes to playlists for working out. Something about the raunch factor just gets me going and I work out harder. haha! :)
The final stages of your workout can be tough, so varying the tempo of your songs as you near the end can help keep you motivated. Tracks that have a tempting beat and empowering lyrics can help you stay strong until the end.
These songs will give you a dose of energy on the days you need motivation the most. You can find the Sweat Challenge playlist, plus challenge program playlists from some of the Sweat trainers on Apple Music and Spotify.
The holidays are HERE. I like to incorporate the holidays into every single part of my life, and so, of course, that includes my workouts! I've compiled a list of joyful Christmas songs to infuse your workouts and runs with hot beatz, cheer, and joy! From Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, to Diplo, to Justin Bieber, I've got you covered!!
Ever wondered what the true spirit of Christmas sounded like? You will finally experience it when you listen to this song. If this song doesn't make you want to hop around town, running in and out of shops, singing to townspeople and animals alike, I'm not sure what to say to you. This song has been on my running playlist for about four years. When I make Half-Marathon and Marathon playlists, this song is on there several times. It will transcend you from regular life into the Christmas - stratosphere.
You guys. I have Bieber Fever. Real. Bad. The whole album is on repeat in my head. Anyways, Drummer Boy is probably the best Christmas workout song ever, and probably a good one for your regular workout list too. A great beat + Busta Rhymes. At first I would kind of poke fun at this song, but now I LOVE IT and I don't care who knows it!!
An encore from 'A Very Decent Christmas', this is another gem to add to your list. 'Nutcracka', 'Twerkith on These Bells', 'Troll the Halls'. Do I even need to say anything else? 'Twerkith on these Bells' will probably make it on to my regular playlist shortly. Troll the Halls has a good beat, be sure to put that one on when you're running up hills or doing some intervals. Totem Night, probably don't play this for Grammy, I actually think it might cause seizures.
Need more help propelling up the side of a mountain? Add 'Joy to the World' to your playlist. How can so many voices all do the same run in unison? It's definitely ok if you start doing fist pumps and hand raises during this song, it's encouraged. REPEAT THE SOUNDING JOY!!!!!!
You had me at 'Muppets'. Its upbeat, the muppets do some singing, you'll probably need to listen to it several times in a row. This song has been on my workout playlists too, it will definitely put you into a jolly holiday mode!
Call it your internal cheerleader, your wingman, your metaphorical better half; when it comes to a solid sweat session at the gym or on the pavement, a Urban List, we think there's really no better motivator than working your way through the best Spotify workout playlists
Good for you. Five miles is too much for me. I know what you mean about the playlist. It can take some time to put it together, and then you get tired of it fairly soon. I have to think about starting to put together a new one. I like rock/alternative songs, so it can be challenging. I put a couple of playlists of this kind on my blog, if anyone likes to rock out like me :)
All the songs on this gym playlist are great for high-intensity movements since they have excellent beats. So get ready to sweat, (maybe cry, depending on how hard your WOD is) and enjoy this workout music!

Fall Out Boy is my favorite band because of their totally danceable music and the incredible lyrics
They read like poetry! Whenever their songs come up on a playlist it always helps me to push harder through a workout. I end up feeling like a total kickbutt rockstar!!!

It does for me, which is great because music happens to be a huge part of my life. My day job involves producing floating music festivals on cruise ships (watch a spur-the-moment commercial I made on one of our cruises last week), I go to a few concerts a month, I play both guitar and piano, and I have a playlist in my iTunes for practically every occasion: for work, while studying or reading, when at a party, while falling asleep, and most importantly for working out.
KATIE: Well, it's changed over the years. Pretty much always self, kind of self-directed workouts, for sure. I'm not like a group workout person. It's like my quiet time. My me time, actually. Used to go to a gym when I had kind of, like, free access to a gym when I was in grad school. Then when I lived in an apartment that had a pretty decent gym so would use that. Now, we've kind of made our own like, home gym. We're one of those people.
ZACH: As you said, everybody's body is different, everybody's BPM is gonna be different, the goal, the safety range, all that sort of thing. But just a general like arc of a playlist, right?
ZACH: It should be kind of like an arc of an actual workout, right? You warm up. You get intense. You cool down. So, can you talk us through? Like maybe -- Maybe the kind of like, style of what a workout playlist should be.
MAEGAN: You know, so being mindful of how you control it, and what you're putting in your ears, especially if you're exercising and listening to these playlists, with the earbuds, it's like going straight into your brain. Like its -- It can be pretty powerful.
MAEGAN: Exactly. So, I think about when you're isolated in workout, maybe you're doing your own weightlifting program, or you're running and jogging. That's a good time to use earbuds.
MAEGAN: Exactly. Yeah. And sometimes your exercise or run may be full-out quiet, and just listen to nature around you. You know, it's good to take those breaks. So, use these things mindfully. Back to the metronome, that app will help you figure out what beats your song is in. So, if you have this list that you're starting to make, the playlist, you may want to start at a slow BPM. 5376163bf9
