### 1. Data Storage & Local Sandbox Guarantee
WorkLog is designed with a strict **offline-first and zero-cloud architecture**:
* **100% Local Storage:** All client records, contractor metadata, project descriptions, hourly/daily session logs, rate tiers, tax structures, and statement histories are saved exclusively in a secure, sandbox-isolated database on your physical device (using the Android SQLite/Room framework).
* **No Server Uploads:** We do not host, operate, or maintain any central servers or cloud platforms. Your data is stored strictly on your hardware and never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
* **Your Data is Yours:** Because your logs are kept strictly local, we cannot access, view, sell, rent, or distribute any of your entered financial or client records.
### 2. Third-Party Advertising Services (Google AdMob)
To fund the continuous development and maintenance of this free application, WorkLog displays non-intrusive banner advertisements using Google AdMob.
Google AdMob operates as a third-party service provider and may collect, process, and transmit technical identifiers. By using the Application, you acknowledge that:
* **Identifiers Collected:** AdMob may collect and process technical data including your IP address, device model, operating system version, and mobile advertising identifiers (such as Android’s Advertising ID / AAID).
* **Usage:** These identifiers are utilized to display relevant, personalized, or contextual advertisements, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud in strict compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
* **How to Opt-Out:** You can control or opt-out of personalized advertisements by adjusting your Android system settings (go to *Settings > Google > Ads* and choose to reset or delete your advertising identifier).
### 3. Device Permissions & File Generation
WorkLog utilizes specific Android system APIs to provide its core features:
* **Storage / PDF Generation:** The Application uses built-in Android Graphics rendering libraries to draft statement documents in PDF format. Generated statements are loaded into memory temporarily and passed through secure, system-sandboxed Android FileProviders to share them via the communication tools of your choosing (such as Email or messaging apps).
* **Network Permissions:** Internet permissions are declared solely to allow Google Play Services to fetch and display banner ads from Google AdMob.
### 4. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since all functional database logs are kept strictly local to your device, we have no means of gathering or accessing such information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately when they are published within an application update.
