America's 5 Economic Essentials for Racial and Economic Justice

We would like to collect video footage from members and staff around the country. If you have filmed anything related to the Workers First Caravan for Racial + Economic Justice that shows union members prepping, packing or traveling between June 12 and 17, please send it to us. The content will be used to promote current and future actions and will be available to all of us for video production. Please place all of your videos in this folder.

Suggestions for filming:

1. You can film horizontally or vertically but horizontal is preferred.

2. Make sure you hold every shot for at least 10 seconds.

3. When filming while driving, please turn music/radio/podcast off.

4. Narrate what is happening—who you are and where you are—while filming. You don't have to speak the whole time while filming, just when appropriate.

5. If you are talking to someone extensively or are interviewing (masks should be on while maintaining a safe distance or they should be safely quarantined with you), please audibly ask their permission for the AFL-CIO to use the footage.

6. Have fun. Film wide shots, medium shots, close-ups and include details.
