Wordslice was formally established in Australia in 2008, and registered in South Africa in 2018, drawing on Director, Francesca Alice’s extensive experience managing diverse communication, research, evaluation and learning processes for the academic, government, international and community development sectors in New Zealand, Australia, Southern and East Africa over the past 20 years.
Francesca is:
A social researcher and evaluator with emphasis on learning. She has delivered interdisciplinary projects on a range of topics, using participatory and action-learning methods, alongside innovating ways to better translate knowledge into practice.
Known for her particular approach to learning synthesis, she is able to process and analyse programmatic and organisational content (documents and data) into key learning documents for strategic and programmatic learning.
Known for her high-level documentation skills, having worked extensively as a writer and editor for the not-for-profit and academic sectors internationally.
Able to successfully navigate geographically dispersed teams to deliver complex projects, research, communications and MEL having worked and lived in the Asia-Pacific, East and Southern Africa regions.
