Synapse Ent (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Words Unfold (“the app”).
1. Information handled by the current version
The current internal-testing version does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with the developer or third parties.
Game progress, settings, discovered words, earned virtual currency, and item balances may be stored locally on your device so the game can function. This locally stored information is not sent to a server operated by the developer. You can remove it by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.
2. Google Play services
Google Play may process information needed to provide downloads, updates, security, and platform services under Google’s own privacy policies. If paid products are added later, payments will be processed by Google Play. The developer will not receive or store your full payment-card details.
3. Advertising, purchases, and online features
The current internal-testing version does not include advertising, analytics, online accounts, or online leaderboards. If advertising, in-app purchases, rewarded ads, online rankings, or other connected features are introduced, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated before those features are made available. The updated notice will explain what data is processed, why it is needed, and which service providers are involved.
4. Children’s privacy
Words Unfold is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
5. Data security and retention
Because the current version stores game data locally, you control its retention through your device. We use reasonable safeguards for any information that may be processed in future online features. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
