PRIVACY POLICY
Word Connect: Brain Puzzles is made by Zineb. Last updated September 2026.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Word Connect: Brain Puzzles has no account and no sign-in, and never asks for your name, your email or anything else about you. What it does collect is how the game is played: which level you are on, when a level is finished, words found, hints and boosters used, coins earned and spent, which advertisements were shown, and which purchases were made. This is tied to a random identifier for your copy of the app, not to you, and it is used to see where players get stuck and what needs fixing.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Your level, coins, stars, score, which photographs you have unlocked, which tile style you are wearing, and your sound and background settings. All of it is stored on the device by iOS and is removed when you delete the app. Only the play events listed above are sent anywhere.
WHO ELSE IS INVOLVED
Google Firebase Analytics receives the play events. Google describes what it collects and how long it keeps it at:
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob shows the advertisements. To choose and measure them it may use your device's advertising identifier along with general information about your device and connection. The first time you open Word Connect: Brain Puzzles, iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you say no, AdMob still shows ads but does not personalise them. Google describes what it collects at:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Apple handles every purchase. Card details, addresses and Apple Account information never reach Word Connect: Brain Puzzles -- the app is told only that a purchase succeeded, and which one. That confirmation is also sent to RevenueCat, a service that keeps the developer's record of purchases and restores; it receives the purchase receipt and the same random identifier, nothing about you. RevenueCat's policy is at:
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Game Center is optional and belongs to Apple, and nothing reaches it until you say so. The first time you finish a level, the game asks whether to publish your score. If you agree, your total score and stars are sent to the leaderboards under your Game Center nickname. If you say no, or if you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is sent and the leaderboard button does not appear. The Leaderboard switch in the menu reverses either answer whenever you like; turning it off stops every further submission, and scores Game Center already holds are Apple's to remove, from Game Center itself.
City photographs are downloaded as you unlock them, and a small settings file is fetched from the developer's server a few times a day. Like any request for a file on the internet, the server sees the address your device is connecting from; nothing about you is sent with it.
CHILDREN
Word Connect: Brain Puzzles has no chat, no messages, no profiles and no way for players to send anything to each other.
YOUR CHOICES
Turn tracking off at any time in the iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Turn the leaderboard off with the Leaderboard switch in the menu.
In Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your advertising choices the first time it opens, and an Ad Privacy Options row appears in the menu to change them afterwards.
Remove the advertisements by buying Remove Ads.
Play analytics cannot be switched off inside the app; deleting the app stops it and removes everything stored on the device.
