You will need:

1) TWO different devices - one to record your voice, the second one to listen to the music as you sing

2) Headphones - listen to the music as you sing along, but make sure you use headphones when you record. You want to end up with an audio file that is the exact same tempo (speed) as the music, but only has your voice in it. DO NOT RECORD YOURSELF SINGING WITHOUT LISTENING TO THE MUSIC AT THE SAME TIME
