Welcome to the homepage of the Shady Glenn and Pasago Bands. My name is Anthony Cuzzola (Mr. C. or Cuzzy) and I am the Band Director at Pasago Middle School and Shady Glenn Elementary teaching grades 3-8. I also direct the percussion ensembles and the drumline for the Wood County Marching Band. Extracurricular opportunities beyond Concert Band include Pep Band (playing before sports games and during halftime), Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble. This website includes photos of the bands (with permission to post) as well as updates regarding lesson schedules, concert dates, and festivals. Please feel free to contact me about your kid's progress at any time:

Way to go guys!
I have been teaching at Wood County since the 2018-2019 school year as the Pasago Middle School Band Director after Mrs. Glenn retired from the post for 27 years!! My first job was teaching band at Villa Maria and Cathedral Prep Catholic Schools in Erie from 2016-2018, before I decided to accept the job here. Ironically, my first year of teaching was my only normal year of teaching before things got messed up the following school year. It has definitely been a learning experience for me, but whether times are good or bad, at the end of the day (usually), I'm grateful to be working with such talented kids, and I love my job. I am a percussionist, primarily a drummer, but I am also a professional mallet percussionist while also having background in piano. I have a decent knowledge of most of the instruments so that I can teach my kids, and most importantly, play along with them! In addition to my job as the Band Director, I revived the Jazz and Pep Bands to get our band program more engaged with the school, and to give those kids who want more the opportunity they deserve.
