Rational design of electrode and electrolyte with a deep understanding on electrochemical/chemical properties of materials can aid us in achieving high performance energy storage devices. My work has been focused on designing and characterizing the electrode materials for various next-generation rechargeable battery systems. My current research interests are development of advanced electrolyte and electrode for aqueous electrolyte-based rechargeable batteries with charge carriers of zinc or proton.
