They prepared for their big day at a nearby hotel. Once ready, we headed back to the Bell Museum for their first look and couple/group portraits. It was fun running around the Bell Museum for fun photos with the wooly mammoth, polar bear and solar system exhibits! The day was beautiful so we also opted for outdoor portraits with their wedding party and families.

We invite you to get your complimentary winter family photos at Sandia Prep. We'll have a professional photographer on hand, as well as a choice of backdrops, including one with Santa himself. Enjoy light refreshments and celebrate the season! Guests are encouraged to bring donations of new socks, blankets, or travel-size toiletries to benefit homeless services provider HopeWorks.

If you visited the City's winter wonderland snow globe on Union Square during the parade/tree lighting and had your photo taken, those photos are now available below. To save your photo, please follow these simple instructions:

Have your camera ready and plan out for time. I spent about two hours in total taking photos since we used multiple scenes. My camera is a full-frame mirror-less from Sony. In my camera bag I brought 2 back up batteries, an extra SD card, a tripod, and two lenses. For the portait style shots (close up) I used a 50 mm lens and for the wider angle landscape style shots, I used a 24-70mm lens. Remember to shoot in a lower ISO to keep your photos from being grainy.

I mainly used a bright and airy preset as well as a sunset preset to edit my photos in Adobe Lightroom since I shot my photos closer to sunset. If you want to get fancy like the photo below, purchase some png clip art from etsy to overlay in Adobe Photoshop.

The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is visiting the Boardwalk to promote happiness, low stress levels and rekindle the festive spirit through acts of kindness and holiday magic. Come take photos with the polar bear and enjoy delicious Coca-Cola samples.

A wonderful holiday tradition returns again this year at Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, with the spectacular Wonderland of Lights. The grounds and buildings of Woolaroc will be covered with over 750,000 lights as the historic ranch transforms itself into a magical winter wonderland! The lights will be turned on Friday, November 25th and will be on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5-9 p.m., through December 18th. Again this year, the main drive to the campus will be reversed, allowing guests the unique view, seen only this time of year, of the buildings across from Clyde Lake, outlined in lights. Santa will be in the museum on Fridays and Sundays only. All grounds and faciliites will be open, including the 50,000 sq. ft. museum, animal barn, welcome center and cafe, and historic lodge where cookies and hot cocoa are available for purchase. You can also catch a wagon ride through the main grounds!
