Author & Illustrator
Adena Raub Dershowitz is the author of Women Who March. A native of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Adena has been working with children in informal and formal education since she was a teenager. She first marched on Washington in 2004 in the March for Women's Lives. After the 2017 Women's March, Adena returned home and attempted to explain the experience to her children. It was then that she decided her contribution to this movement would be making the story of the march accessible to children and families, fostering conversation. Adena lives in Queens, NY with her husband and two children.
Heather Workman is an illustrator from Southeastern Michigan. Heather is passionate about art, education, and working with children. After receiving her BFA in Studio Arts, Heather has continued to study the arts, teach art lessons, and travel.
