Steele

Steele is the lead sled dog racing out of the town of Nome, Alaska. He is known for being very cocky and arrogant, willing to do anything he can to get the win at the end of the day. He absolutely despises wolves and any sort of wolf-dog combination, meaning he will do what he can to ensure only dogs live within the town of Nome, if he can help it.

Steele has always worked as a sled dog, since he was old enough to do it at a young age. When he was with his first team, Steele proved to be incredibly useful at attacking other animals to keep the team and his musher safe, while also proving to do well with the rest of the team and being incredibly friendly and helpful. He quickly rose through the different ranks on the team, slowly becoming more and more bitter over time as he realizes his attempts to get with his long time crush, Jenna, are not working. He tries everything he can to date her, only to fail each time, and further driving his anger and bitterness toward his team. While the anger is not from the team itself, it is shown heavily by his actions, taking more risks than he may have when he was younger and not entirely listening to the team or the musher. Despite this, and because of his efforts in racing and helping deliver supplies, Steele becomes the head of his team and becomes famous around town for humans and dogs alike. At this point, it is found Balto has moved into the boat at the edge of town and because of his more friendly attitude towards Steele’s team, and Jenna, Steele starts a campaign to slander and drive Balto away. It never seems to work, but Steele keeps up the attempts to get rid of Balto and to get with Jenna, leading up to the events that occured in the first movie.

VERSES

V: Canon Verse.

Set after the events of the first movie, Steele becomes an outcast in the town of Nome and basically has to find other work to try and keep some sort of relevancy with Balto being the newfound hero of Nome. Steele is not well-liked and usually will not have pleasant conversations with others who know about his past.

V: Canon-Divergence/AU Verse.

This verse is similar to the canon verse as it involves Steele as a sled dog, a former sled dog, or even just as a dog living in the surrounding areas of Nome. However, there can be changes to the timeline and Steele will interact with people in other universes in this verse. This is likely the verse that will be used most often. This basically is just a slightly different version from the movie to what I will portray.

V: Zootopia Verse.

This verse just allows Steele to live in the world of Zootopia, or worlds similar to that in nature. Within these worlds, Steele works as a vice-president of a company, managing their transport and operations side of things, keeping in line with the idea of his “sled dog” nature. He also owns a bar and helps run it part-time when he’s away from work, allowing him to have some fun in a different type of business and have a more “relaxed” lifestyle.
