NOTE: Regretfully, due to Covid-19, we must cancel the Lyceum planned for June 2020.

Western Michigan University Lyceum

The Western Michigan University Lyceum is a free summer camp for high school students, facilitated by philosophy faculty and graduate students.

At the Lyceum, students will engage in discussions, participate in fun activities and games, and improve their critical thinking and writing skills. Students will also get to see more of WMU's campus, including free daily lunches and a theme-related field trip.

The 2019 WMU Lyceum, Philosophy & Technology, was a terrific success, with participants representing seven different high schools from across and beyond the state of Michigan.

Information about the theme and dates for the 2020 Lyceum will be released soon. If you would like to be placed on our mailing list for updates, please shoot us an email at wmulyceum@gmail.com,
