Directions to the geoLab

Hopefully your travel to the Williamsburg area has gone smoothly! Here is a screenshot of where the Integrated Science Center - where the geoLab is located - is in relation to Jamestown Road and Richmond Road.

If you are driving a car, be careful where you park. The parking police like to give tickets! Most spots close to the building require a staff/faculty parking pass. You can google some nearby parking options, or bike/walk in depending on your commute. Once you get to the building, there are two options to get to the lab depending on your approach.

Most likely, if you haven't been here before you're looking for our graduate research lab (the "quiet lab") located in room #1252. If you are coming from Jamestown Road, walk in the main door (the blue arrow labeled #1). Once you walk in the door, take a right (if you see a Starbucks, you went too far). Down the hall, the geoLab is in Room #1252. If you come from another direction, arrow #2 might be the better option. This will bring you in on a lower level. Take the stairs up one level immediately after you walk through the first set of doors. Head straight down the hall, (don't turn right, if you see a Starbucks, you went down the wrong hall).

Hopefully this helps. And don't worry. People are very friendly here, once you get in the building just ask folks where the geoLab is.
