My research aims to predict terrestrial and aquatic water, energy, and biogeochemical processes by solving the governing equations of the atmosphere-plant-soil-groundwater  continuum and examining the lateral transfer of water, energy, and elements from land to ocean, all within the framework of fundamental landscape units—watersheds.
