I'd like to get an estimate as to how long it will take to upgrade to a 9800-CL. I realize this is a somewhat difficult question to answer, but a ballpark estimate would be greatly appreciated. I.E. 8 hours for VMware / virtual switch configuration, 16 hours to build the 9800, 8 hours of DHCP/Vlan/etc work (CAPWAP), 8 hours to update documentation.

From what I can see at looking at the docs, I don't see more than 40 hours of work here, but I've never worked with the 9800 before, so if I am missing an aspect of the setup that is complex or time consuming, please let me know.

Hi all, I have a 2504 to replace and can see the 3504 is EOS. Looks like the 9800 is the way to go, can anyone help with compatibility with my existing Aironet 1700 series, looks like they are supported but I assume theres a firmware upgrade path with AP bundles involved.
