Currently, Dr. Wang is a research professor at the Institute of Oriental Medicine, Dongguk University, specializing in gut microbiota, herbal medicine, and metabolic diseases. With a strong background in hepatology, microbiology, and Oriental medicine, his research focuses on the interplay between herbal therapeutics and microbial metabolism in metabolic diseases, as well as gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
