본 연구실은 지구온난화를 해결하기 위하여 에너지 사용으로 인한 이산화탄소 배출 저감 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
저탄소 에너지 생산 및 활용을 위해 가스 하이드레이트를 활용한 CO2 분리 및 해양지중저장, CH4-CO2 치환, 친환경 수소 생산 등 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
또한, 가스 하이드레이트 및 슬러리를 이용한 해수 담수화 및 다상 유체 유동성 확보 연구도 진행하고 있습니다.

Our research goal is to reduce carbon emissions from the energy sector to solve the global warming phenomena.
For the production and utilization of low-carbon energy, we are focusing on gas hydrate-based research such as CO2 separation and geologic storage, CH4-CO2 replacement, and blue hydrogen production.
In addition, we are studying hydrate-based desalination and multi-phase flow assurance.
