Pre-production began on October 5, 1997, and Michael Monello became a co-producer.[12][8] In developing the mythology behind the film, the creators used many inspirations. For instance, several character names are near-anagrams: Elly Kedward (The Blair Witch) is Edward Kelley, a 16th-century mystic, and Rustin Parr, the fictional 1940s child-murderer, began as an anagram for Rasputin.[13] The Blair Witch is said to be, according to legend, the ghost of Elly Kedward, a woman banished from the Blair Township (latter-day Burkittsville) for witchcraft in 1785.
The directors incorporated that part of the legend, along with allusions to the Salem witch trials and Arthur Miller's 1953 play The Crucible, to play on the themes of injustice done to those who were classified as witches.[14]
The legend describes the killings and disappearances of some of the residents of Blair, Maryland (a fictitious town on the site of Burkittsville, Maryland) from the 18th to 20th centuries. Residents blamed these occurrences on the ghost of Elly Kedward, a Blair resident accused of practicing witchcraft in 1785 and sentenced to death by exposure. The Curse of the Blair Witch presents the legend as real, complete with manufactured newspaper articles, newsreels, television news reports, and staged interviews.[43]
Every swamp hut spawns a witch and a cat inside during world generation both which never despawn. Otherwise, only witches spawn in the 7Ã7Ã9 (xÃyÃz) volume that is the hut. This is the size of the roof and one block over the porch, from one level below the floor of the hut to two blocks above the roof.
A villager transforms into a witch when lightning strikes within four blocks. The witch transformed from a villager does not despawn and cannot be changed back into a villager. This witch attacks the player with its potions even if the player traded with it before.
Witches are a source of potion ingredients and are the only mobs that are able to spawn in the small area around a swamp hut. These huts are the best place to farm witches, but they require spawning platforms and light levels of 0. A hut can support a maximum of three spawning platforms. Witch huts spawn in swamp biomes, but the witch-exclusiveness depends on the entire hut being inside a swamp biome. In illager raids found in villages, it is more worthwhile to simply build a pillager farm and deal with witches as they spawn.
A witch drops 5 experience orbs when killed by a player or tamed wolf. Witches have the largest loot table of any mob, making one to three drops of zero to two items each, for a maximum of six items total. A witch may drop sticks, glass bottles, glowstone dust, redstone dust, spider eyes, gunpowder or sugar.[1] The likelihood of a witch to drop sticks is 25%, while the remaining items have a probability of 12.5%. The odds of a witch dropping the maximum amount of items possible without a Looting enchantment are 1 in 81 (1.2%).
A witch is neither an illager nor a villager. Witches do not use housing, the equipment in their swamp huts and cannot open doors. Witches are peaceful toward villagers and wandering traders although their potions can hit one by accident.
The poison, instant damage, evoker fangs, warden's sonic boom and the Thorns enchantment magical sources are 85% less effective against witches. In Bedrock Edition, witches are immune to poison, fatal poison and to their own thrown harming potions.
The witch pursues a player within 16 blocks and uses potions of the first level in combat, throwing splash potions offensively and drinking potions defensively. These potions are the same as ones obtainable through brewing, with the same duration. A witch has an infinite stock of potions, even when transformed from a villager or not having had any potions equipped in their inventory. Each potion chosen by the witch depends on the circumstance and is thrown within ten blocks and in a three-second interval.
A witch may choose to equip and drink a potion each 0.05 second if it is not already drinking a potion. Drinking the potion takes 1.6 seconds[2] and slows down its moving speed. It does not attack during this time.
In Java Edition, any witch can join a patrol if sufficiently near a patrol captain. These witches are hostile towards villagers, wandering traders and iron golems if in their sight. Witches that participate in a raid seek out illagers and ravagers and throw splash potions of Regeneration of 45 seconds or Instant Health if they have 4 or less. Witches do not retaliate when attacked by evoker fangs, illagers, or harming potions from other witches. Instead, they drink a beneficial potion.
In Bedrock Edition, witches participating in a raid do not heal other illagers, but still attack the player, iron golems and snow golems. Witches throw negative splash potions at any mob that attacks it, including other witches and illagers.

He starred in and co-produced the cult feature film VIVA, and more recently was featured in several web series, and played a male witch and was executive producer for the 35mm feature film THE LOVE WITCH.
This is exactly what I experienced after being admitted to hospital. Started off as shortness of breath but switched to excruciating Charlie Horse feeling in right flank just as you described. A muscle relaxant flexoral was prescribed which helped immensely. 3 episodes took place in three days but now I seem to just have the odd spasm. Really difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in. Today is day 6 since diagnosing my PE. Hoping to be released from hospital today, but worried too as not much help at home.
The Witch Mansion is found in swamps, birch forests, and roofed forests. It contains evil witches and their cats, along with their Witch's Urns that contain various tiered alchemy loot. Excellinor first appeared in How To Break a Dragon's Heart as a prisoner that Hiccup is locked up with by Alvin who falsely calls herself Hogstrude. As Toothless is close to death, Hiccup begs her to save him and she does, but only in exchange for the spoon in his belly. As such, she successfully saves him despite being in complete darkness. However, the witch challenges Hiccup to a sadistic game - that they must guess the others' identity and the winner gets to kill the other. The witch also tells Hiccup the reason Ug imprisoned her as well as the tragic story of the last King of the Wilderwest and his ancestor, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock II, which results in Hiccup giving away his identity, though he also correctly guesses Exellinor's identity as Alvin's mother after she reveals she thinks Alvin is the heir to the throne of the Wilderwest. Excellinor then attempts to kill Hiccup but Toothless wakes up and the light from his eyes briefly blinds her, and Hiccup finds a key that comes out of Hiccup's stomach which allows him to escape, but he forgets to lock to door allowing Exellinor to escape too. The latter then appears on a bridge where Hiccup is hanging over a fire caused by Furious and she tells Alvin to get the sword Endeavour (which Hiccup is using). The rope bridge snaps and Excellinor grabs Alvin by the hook but burns herself due to it briefly being in the fire, causing her to let go and Alvin falls into the fire while Excellinor jumps after him. However, they fall into the lake in Berserk and they continue to swim until the fire dies down before escaping with Alvin back to the Outcast Island.
Murkrow is an avian PokÃmon with black feathers. Its crooked, yellow beak and the three, feathery tufts on its head resemble a witch's nose and hat respectively. The feathery crest is smaller on the female than on the male. It has semi-circular, red eyes with white sclerae and pupils and a spiky collar of feathers around its neck. The shaggy feathers on its tail resemble the end of a broom, and there is a thin, red band at the base of the tail. Its yellow feet have four toes, three facing forward and one backward.
Murkrow seems to be based on a crow, more specifically the carrion crow. Its crest can be taken to resemble a pointed hat, its nose a hooked nose, and its tail the bristles of a broom, giving it a resemblance to a witch in flight. Its crest also resembles that of the black hawk-eagle. In regards to its Generation IV evolution, it can also be taken to resemble a gang member under a head Honchkrow. Its ability to mimic voices is referencing crows' and ravens' ability to imitate other sounds.
