1. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to all features and services of Clip Volume Control that you download, install, and use via Google Play, including but not limited to:
1. Volume control, volume enhancement, and system volume features related to ringtone, media, alarm, and similar streams;
2. Setting the App as the default home screen (Launcher) and related desktop layouts, shortcuts, and widgets;
3. Online content services such as weather, news, wallpapers, discovery content, and lightweight games (Quick Play);
4. Utility features such as notes, calendar reminders, calculator, unit conversion, font size adjustment, flashlight, magnifier, and file browsing and search;

This Policy does not apply to independent third-party websites, apps, or services (including advertising platforms and content providers). Third parties process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
We follow the principle of data minimization. The App does not require you to register an account and does not actively collect sensitive identity information such as your name, national ID number, bank account details, contacts, SMS messages, or call logs. Depending on features and system capabilities, we may process the following information:
1. Information You Provide
(1) Feedback and suggestions: text you submit through the in-app feedback entry;
(2) Language and preference settings: your chosen app language, notification switches, home-screen preferences, and similar settings;
(3) Notes and calendar content: note text you create, calendar event titles, reminder times, and similar data (mainly used for local feature functionality);
(4) City search and weather-related input: cities or regions you search for or add;
(5) Information provided when contacting us: the content of emails you send to mastertechnology786@gmail.com and your email address.
2. Device and Technical Information (Collected Automatically)
To support service operation, security, advertising, and analytics, we and our partners may automatically collect:
(1) Device model, operating system version, system language, screen parameters, and time zone;
(2) App version number, install source (such as Google Play Install Referrer), crash logs, and performance diagnostic information;
(3) Network type (such as Wi-Fi / mobile network) and IP address (which may be used for approximate location, security, and advertising);
(4) Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID, which you can reset or limit in system settings);
(5) Device push tokens required for Firebase push notifications (FCM Token);
(6) App usage event statistics (such as page views, feature usage, and ad impressions/clicks in aggregated or pseudonymized form).
3. Permission-Related Information (Used Only After You Grant Authorization)
The App may request the following permissions solely for corresponding features. You may revoke them at any time in system settings:
(1) Network access / network state: loading ads, weather, news, wallpapers, content updates, push notifications, and remote configuration;
(2) Modify audio settings: adjusting system volumes such as media, ringtone, and alarm;
(3) Notification permission: calendar reminders, volume-related alerts, service updates, and push messages;
(4) Approximate/precise location: providing more accurate local weather; you may also use weather by manually searching for a city;
(5) Camera: flashlight (flash) and magnifier live preview; we do not upload your camera feed for advertising profiling;
(6) Set wallpaper: applying the wallpaper you choose to the system home screen;
(7) Storage/media access (where required by the system): local file management features such as file/folder browsing and viewing images, videos, and audio by category;
(8) Boot completed broadcast (where applicable): restoring local reminder capabilities such as calendar reminders after device reboot.
Note: Denying a permission may make the corresponding feature unavailable, but does not affect basic use of other authorized features.
4. Information Stored Locally
To improve your experience, the App may store on your device:
(1) Settings, onboarding completion status, and language preferences;
(2) Notes, calendar reminders, weather city lists, wallpaper selections, and similar data;
(3) Ad load throttling, caches, and necessary business state;
(4) Push tokens and other data required for operation.
The above local data is mainly used for on-device functionality and is not used alone to build an account profile that identifies you personally.
3. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
1. Provide and maintain core features: volume control, Launcher, weather, news, wallpapers, toolbox, and related functions;
2. Personalize and optimize experience: language, layout, content presentation, and feature guidance;
3. Advertising services: display splash, interstitial, native, rewarded, and other ads, and measure ad performance;
4. Analytics and improvement: understand feature usage through Firebase Analytics and similar tools to improve stability and experience;
5. Security and stability: collect crashes and exceptions through Firebase Crashlytics and similar tools to diagnose and fix issues;
6. Messaging: send reminders, updates, or service-related notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (after you grant notification permission);
7. Remote configuration: dynamically adjust feature switches and display strategies through Firebase Remote Config to improve service flexibility;
8. Customer support: respond to your feedback, complaints, and inquiries;

We do not sell your information to third parties for independent commercial resale unrelated to the App.

2. Security measures: We take reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as transmission encryption, access control, and least privilege) to protect information security. However, please understand that no Internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
3. Data breach response: If a security incident occurs that may affect your rights and interests, we will take remedial measures as required by applicable law and, where necessary, notify you and relevant regulators.
7. Children’s Privacy (Ages 13 and Above)
The App is intended for general users. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
1. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not use the App or provide us with any personal information.
2. The App is suitable for users aged 13 and above. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, we recommend that you read this Policy and use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
3. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete the relevant data as soon as possible and stop providing related services to that child.
