Voice Claim: Tessa Thompson
History: As a young mare, Harpy had a run in with 8253 Prophet, who convinced her that the world was ending. Young and impressionable, she panicked and immediately started preparing for the worst. She trained herself for the coming apocalypse every day, going as far as creating a camp in Dead Country that she could survive in alone if necessary. As she built her camp, using scraps and fragments of human technology left over from before Dead Country became a desert, she started to attract attention from other Ballators searching for a home. Her first friend and herdmate was 316 Ocotillo. She had quite a large crush on the desert stallion, despite his arrogant attitude.
Since starting her apocalypse shelter, it has grown into a rather large camp, and is now home to a large number of Ballators, of all shapes and sizes. It is now known as the Junkyard, named for the recycled objects used to create shelter. She has found herself unable to turn anyone in need away, and with a whole desert to live in, they have had no troubles expanding the camp. She still has a small crush on Ocotillo, however she pushes it aside and puts her herd first. Ocotillo has since wisened up and fallen for the mare, and is constantly on her heels asking her if she needs help with anything. The pair are sort of a couple now, although neither have explicitly stated it. Once Ocotillo dropped his bad boi attitude and started focusing on the needs of others, and Harpy, he was widely accepted as the lead stallion of the herd. Harpy is still considered the upmost authority, even over him, but few will disobey his orders. Harpy is okay with this arrangement, and considers the two friends with benefits for now, but she's open to becoming official mates if he suggests it.
Harpy does not ever want children, she doesn't believe it is right to bring a child into a world that will end soon. Ocotillo does not care for kids either.
At the moment, Harpy has a lot of concern for the Red Star, and believes it might signify an end, if not to the world, then something. She desires to chase it and discover what it means, but she feels it is her responsibility to stay with her herd for now.
Quirks: Covered in small scars, with one large scar across her back from a survival training accident. Constantly dirty, she deliberately dirties her tail to help camouflage the stark white hair. Always wears her goggles.
