Personality

History: Beyla tends to lose friends pretty easily. She always feels like she's looking for something, but she doesn't know what, so she keeps travelling, losing touch with friends as she goes. She was once plagued by the Lowlord Hannibal, having accepted his gifts as a younger mare, but quickly realised her mistake when the Lowlord seemingly spoke to her through the smoke manes he bestowed upon her. Beyla still doesn't know if this was real, or just some strange figment of her imagination, but either way the whispers shook her to her core.

Soon after the whispers festered, she met 8979 Sacred, a much younger mare full of life and hope. Sacred helped Beyla face her religious fears and opened her eyes to new possibilities, leading the desert mare to pledge herself to the Highlordess Ares. It was more of a bid to release her from her cursed gifts, and a choice Beyla hopes she will not regret in the future.

Soon after pledging her life to the Highlordess, Beyla and Sacred were thrown into the events of Red Star Rising.

Following these events, Beyla and Sacred split up, but they do still meet up on occasion. Beyla truly hopes that Sacred will remain the one friend she can actually keep, and maybe in her travels, she'll reunite with some old friends. Her current adventure has her in Dead Country.
