What is the WIPL?
The Wisconsin Interclub Pickleball League (WIPL) is a structured, competitive pickleball league designed for players from participating clubs across Wisconsin. It provides an exciting opportunity to play organized matches, improve skills, and build connections with players from other clubs.
League Highlights
Dates: Runs from March through April over 6-8 weeks.
Skill Levels: Divisions for 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, and 4.0-4.5 players based on DUPR rankings.
Competition: Separate men's and women's divisions with weekly head-to-head matches and a season-ending tournament.
Locations: Matches are hosted at participating clubs with permanent courts. Please see each club contact below to connect with a team.
Tentative League Dates and Times (starting Saturday March 1st):
A division will be designated the same day each week. For example, Men's 4.0 to 4.5 will always be hosted on a Sunday at either 4pm or 6pm. 1-2 matches may be moved to a Friday night at 6pm depending on the number of registrants for the league. The tentative date for the end of season tournament is Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th. The final schedule will be released after registration closes with exact dates and times.

Men’s 3.0 to 3.5 – Saturdays 4pm or 6pm (with 1-2 matches potentially being a Friday night at 6pm)
Women’s 3.5 to 4.0 – Saturdays 4pm or 6pm (with 1-2 matches potentially being a Friday night at 6pm)
Men’s 3.5 to 4.0 – Sundays 4pm or 6pm (with 1-2 matches potentially being a Friday night at 6pm)
Women’s 4.0 to 4.5 – Sundays 4pm or 6pm (with 1-2 matches potentially being a Friday night at 6pm)
Men’s 4.0 to 4.5 – Sundays 4pm or 6pm (with 1-2 matches potentially being a Friday night at 6pm)
Player Benefits
Broaden Competition: Play against a wide range of opponents from other clubs.

Dedicated Pickleball Courts Only: All pickleball matches will be played on dedicated pickleball courts. No games will be played on pickleball courts painted on tennis courts.
Value for Money: $180 per player for 6-8 weeks, including matches, and end of tournament entry. This includes all guest fees required at each facility. If players were to pay for guest and court fees at each of these facilities individually over 8 weeks, $380.
League Format
Teams: Each team has 8 players, with a captain managing practices and rosters.
Matches: Players compete in 4 games per match, using traditional scoring (to 15, win by 2). Players will play these in a two hour time frame. Players will have about 50% of matches at their home clubs at 50% of matches at away clubs.
LifeSport will have Lake Geneva Tennis and Pickleball as their main home facility
EliteClubs will have Vortex Pickleball Club and Premier Pickleball Club and Complex as their main home facility
Substitutions: Only club members with appropriate DUPR rankings can sub if approve by the captain, with a $25 sub fee for the league.
End-of-Season Tournament
A one-day round-robin event featuring all clubs.
Prizes awarded to the best-performing teams.
