Not affiliated to anything, just making guide for future me, because I keep forgetting the linux-firmware-hauppauge package every damn time and then wonder why not working. Also for other who find it useful.

3. reboot so that linux-firmware-hauppauge card driver gets enabled. Make sure kernel got rebuilt with dracut or mkinitcpio. Usually yay does that for you (with hooks) on default EndeavourOS installation.

Have ASTC Hauppauge wintv dual HD stick. works fine on Z8 and pulls all local channels, plugging into new Z11 Pro I get nothing. Have tried a few restarts Looking for any help with this or tuner that does work.

I do not get the new entry. in my content sources I have "+ add" and below it is 2 services that I use. off to side top is add portal and add m3u playlist. After my first tries to get the tuner to work I factory restored the box with no love there either.

I have tried both usb ports numerous times with reboots and 1 factory restore. the only thing I get above +add is the back arrow. the stick has one green light instead of 2, I did plug the stick back into my formuler 8 a few minutes ago and it works fine.

Sir, that was the fix! Thank you!. But you made me realize how old that stick is, I bought it new and i think XP was half way to EOL, to use for media center, frustrating but good times. Maybe time formuler incorporated HD Homerun as some apps are doing now. But regardless thanks again its working great. e1438dca32
