Torch relay & Opening Ceremonies

Sphero

  • Program 2-5 spheros “passing the torch”
    • Program the LED to light and roll until colliding with the next sphero, then turn the light off (and next one lights up and begins movement)
    • Video this process and save to the Torch Relay video folder
  • Each participating classroom should introduce themselves as “Team ___” (country) and the events they’ve chosen to enter

Ozobot

  • Program 2-5 Ozobots “passing the torch”
    • Program the LED to light, move, "pass the torch" and turn the light off (and next one lights up and begins movement). How could Ozobots do this?
    • Video this process and save to the Torch Relay video folder
  • Each participating classroom should introduce themselves as “Team ___” (country) and the events they’ve chosen to enter

Sphero

  • Create medals for your Spheros and take video of students attaching medals to Spheros (Spheros can ‘react’ with sound/light at winning a medal!)
  • Track all of the Sphero medals for your country and create a Google Slide (or just caption the above video) to show national standings

Ozobot

  • Create medals for your Ozobots and take video of students attaching medals to Ozobots
  • Track all of the Ozobot medals for your country and create a Google Slide (or just caption the above video) to show national standings
