THE STORY

In 2003, inspired by the fun they had with summer lemonade stands, sisters Kayla and Mara Winfrey wanted to carry that warmth to the winter season. At the tender ages of 4 and 2, they launched their first hot chocolate stand in the driveway of their new home in Homewood, with the loving support of their parents and their mom's secret hot chocolate recipe.

The idea was as heartwarming as the hot chocolate they served: selling cups for just 25 cents and using the proceeds to purchase toys for children in need through the Toys for Tots organization. In that very first winter, they raised $50, but little did they know, it was the start of a remarkable journey. Over 20 years, their efforts have grown, and they've donated over $45,000 worth of toys to bring joy to boys and girls who need it most during the holiday season.

Now, every December, the Winfrey family, along with their friends and their beloved community in Homewood, come together to continue this wonderful tradition. It has become an annual holiday celebration and a festive opportunity to give back to the community. Your support can help us spread joy, brighten the holidays, and ensure that even more children have a merry Christmas this year!

Join us in making a difference, one cup of hot chocolate at a time.

Together, we can spread warmth and happiness to children who deserve it the most!
