Volunteer Mission Statement
As a part of our commitment to both transparency and to creating opportunities for community investment in our organization, Winds of Trade Community Center welcomes volunteers in a variety of roles, including activities that directly support our paid employees, leadership/mentor positions, event coordinator assistance, fundraiser committees, summer camp counselor, focus group and community project coordinator assistant.
From helping set up for an event to offering a friendly face and administrative support at the front desk – Winds of Trade Community Center offers volunteers a variety of opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development. Volunteers not only have the chance to connect with others – but a chance to re-connect with themselves with a renewed sense of purpose. You will need your clearances to volunteer at the center if you are 18 years and older. Contact Angelo Anderson at (814) 297-2014 for a list of volunteer opportunities and to get started.
