The goal of the network is to connect women interested in the use and application of Data Science and Machine Learning in the Social Sciences and in societies at large. The network brings together women using Data Science to inform decision making and answer relevant policy questions, and women that study the ethical implications, the methodological features and consequences of Machine Learning algorithms. The network provides a venue to promote and facilitate cooperation and offers an organizational basis for research, teaching, and policy-oriented dissemination activities.
