And as promised, everything was right where I left it. The applications and windows I previously had open were still open, and the taskbar customizations I made, such as pinning Notepad and Paint, were retained as expected.

So my PC crashed a couple days ago and I need to run a clean install of windows 10 from a bootable USB. The only other computer I have to work with is a Chrome OS, and I can't seem to find clear instructions on how to create a bootable USB from Chrome OS. Most of my search results are pulling up how to create a bootable USB to use within the Chromebook itself, whereas I want it to be used on a PC. Any ideas on how to do this?

I have a user that likes using keyboard shortcuts, accessing the VDI with workspace app on chromebook doesn't allow you to do this, normally its Windows Key + SHIFT + Arrow Key but nothing seems to work on the chromebook keys - anyone tried this or can help.

Apologies, yes when using citrix workspace on a windows/mac machine with a two screen setup the Windows Key + Shift + Arrow Key would normally move an active window from one screen to another it does not do this on a chromebook. Some other websites have said try Search+Alt+Arrow using chromebook's keyboard but this does nothing.

I installed it and it opens just fine except windows is stuck in introduction mode.. all I can do is the few things Cortana directs me to do as far as setting up my email and everything.. as soon as its finished it starts all over again.

If you have an arm processor you cannot. If you don't you must first enter developer mode as in this video then you can install windows from a bootable usb stick, if your system meets the minimum requirements. Windows 10 for example can be installed as in this video. 17dc91bb1f
