Tobiano

KIT Series

All of the genes in the KIT series connect to the same locus, meaning creatures can only carry two of these genes in a series at most. For example, they can be ToSb (ne Tobiano and one Sabino gene), Sbn (One Sabino gene), or SbSb (Two Sabino genes). But they can't be ToToSb because that's too many KIT genes!

They are codominant, meaning that if a creature carries two different KIT genes, the effects of both will show. Having two copies of the same gene generally causes it white from it to cover more of the body.

Tobiano | To

White USUALLY covers legs up to knees, and may spread up from legs and down from shoulders and hips, leaving large circular blotches of original color.
Chest, groin, and sides of the face are usually the last to lose color
May have mapping - thin white roaning around white markings
May have "cat tracks", small specks of ticking on white areas around shoulders
In hooved creatures, mane and tail are white where skin beneath is affected by To.
