All of the genes in the KIT series connect to the same locus, meaning creatures can only carry two of these genes in a series at most. For example, they can be ToSb (ne Tobiano and one Sabino gene), Sbn (One Sabino gene), or SbSb (Two Sabino genes). But they can't be ToToSb because that's too many KIT genes!
They are codominant, meaning that if a creature carries two different KIT genes, the effects of both will show. Having two copies of the same gene generally causes it white from it to cover more of the body.
White covers back legs and spreads out from a line going down the spine, around the rump, and up the belly. Then covers front legs and chest.
May rarely cover body, leaving large spots of color.
Head remains unaffected.
Skin is pink where white touches.
In hooved creatures, mane and tail are white where skin beneath is affected by P.
Not to be confused with Color Sided, which is not a KIT gene and can also affect the face, as well as tends to cover more of the animal
