Belted

KIT Series

All of the genes in the KIT series connect to the same locus, meaning creatures can only carry two of these genes in a series at most. For example, they can be ToSb (ne Tobiano and one Sabino gene), Sbn (One Sabino gene), or SbSb (Two Sabino genes). But they can't be ToToSb because that's too many KIT genes!

They are codominant, meaning that if a creature carries two different KIT genes, the effects of both will show. Having two copies of the same gene generally causes it white from it to cover more of the body.

Belted | Blt

White creates a "belt" marking around the middle of the creature, and may extend to the legs, but will NOT affect the face/neck.
May have some rounded gaps inside the white
May cause a stripe on the tail as well, which will not connect to the body stripe.
May display mapping, thin white roaning around the white markings.
Does not affect skin.
Mane and tail are white where skin beneath is affected by Blt.
