Woodland Series

Woodland series genes all attach to the same area, creating a series. Creatures can only have two genes in a series at most. So they could, for example, be MkMk (or) BrBr (but not) MkMk/Br. They could also be nn for the series, and have no markings here.

Woodland Series genes are codominant, meaning having more than one different type will show the effects of both.
However, having duplicates, like two copies of Mk, will not create two different types of Monk

Alternating black and red horizontal stripes, may have spots of opposing color inside the stripes
May be one or multiple sets of stripes, focused on the head, body, rump, or from head to tail.
May be straight or slightly irregular.
Black may slightly darken the base coat or be completely opaque.
Red may be a dark liver color or so light it appears white.
Both sides of the creature will be the same!
In hooved creatures, stripes can also affect mane and tail
