Saddle Series

Saddle Series genes all attach to the same area, creating a series.

Creatures can only have two genes in a series at most. So they could, for example, be SdV (or) SdSd (but not) SdSd/V. They could also be nn for the series, and have no markings here.

Saddle Series genes are codominant, meaning having more than one different type will show the effects of both.
However, having duplicates, like two copies of Sd, will not create two different types of Saddle.

Cloak | Ck_

Creates a large solid black marking along the creature's back and face, resembling a cloak.
Face is usually "hooded" black, but may have somewhat intricate gaps down the center of the face which are aligned vertically, from ears to snout.
Outsides of front legs are always black, insides may rarely also be black.
May trace a black line down the front or back of the hindlegs
Tail is usually black
May have unaffected flecks in patches especially around the torso
May have black "straps" and flecks on the throat, inside of the legs, and underbelly
Skin is black where the marking touches, unless a stronger gene like white spotting is present. Eyes are not affected.
In hooved creatures, mane and tail are black where the marking touches.
