• Brown areas are affected by red and black targeting genes. Black areas are affected by black targeting genes.

• Combination of Sable and Wild Bay, where black can appear where allowed for both Sable and Wild Bay. Red areas are usually made brown.

• Black ear rims.

• Ears and tail may become totally black.

• Usually keeps widows peak and black feet at minimum.

• Black skin.

• In hooved creatures: black mane/tail.
