Affects Markings ONLY

• The Rosette gene, "Ro" only affects black markings, not the base coat, and not red or white based markings. It dilutes the inside of the black area, creating leopard and snake-like patterns.

• It may affect all or only some black markings. It will never erase a marking entirely but may dilute them so intensely that only an outside edge remains, or the dilution may be barely visible.

• Does not affect skin or eyes.

• In hooved creatures, it does not affect the mane or tail.
