This Privacy Policy describes how Win Os 2026 ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use our Android launcher application.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to our own servers. All app settings, layout, and preferences (such as wallpaper choice, theme, grid size, and pinned apps) are stored locally on your device only.
2. Notification Access
If you grant Notification Access permission, the App reads the notifications posted by other apps on your device solely to display them in the App's own Notification Center, so you can view and dismiss them from within Win Os 2026. This notification content:
Is processed and displayed entirely on your device
Is never transmitted to us or to any third party
Is never stored outside your device
You can revoke Notification Access at any time from your device's Settings, which will immediately stop the App from reading notifications.
3. Camera Permission
The App requests Camera permission solely to control your device's flashlight (torch) feature from the Quick Actions panel. The App does not capture, record, or store photos, video, or any camera output.
4. Wallpapers and Photos
When you choose a photo for your wallpaper, the App uses your device's built-in photo picker. The selected image is copied and stored locally on your device to render as your wallpaper; we do not access your broader photo library, and the image is never uploaded anywhere.
5. Advertising
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and general device/usage information to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob / Google Play Services: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from partner sites/apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Settings (Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization) or by resetting your Advertising ID.
6. Firebase Remote Config
The App uses Google Firebase Remote Config to fetch non-personal configuration values (such as which ad placements are active) from Firebase's servers. This does not involve collection of personal information beyond what is described in Google's Firebase privacy documentation: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
7. Other Permissions
The App also requests the following permissions solely to provide core launcher functionality, none of which involve collecting or transmitting personal data:
Set Wallpaper — to apply your chosen wallpaper
Access Notification Policy — to support the Do Not Disturb / Focus Assist quick toggle
Expand Status Bar — to open the system notification shade from the App
Internet / Access Network State — required for ads and Firebase Remote Config to function
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only data shared with third parties is the limited advertising/device data described in Section 5, which is collected directly by Google AdMob under its own privacy policy — not by us.
9. Data Security
Since app data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, its security depends on your device's own security settings. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored App data.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
