There are so many fun activities at camp to remember! Here are a few questions to help generate conversations with your family!

What was the best part of your first day of camp?

Today we learned about when Jesus fed 5000 people with just a few loaves of bread and fish. Our memory verse from the Bible is Philippians 4:19 –
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."
If you were one of Jesus's helpers handing out the food what you would have thought?
How does it make you feel when Jesus says that he will ensure everyone has what they need - even you?

Today we learned about Zaccheaus, a very short man who climbed a tree just to see Jesus. Our memory verse from the Bible is Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Today we learned about the story of the Good Samaritan and how when others refused to help, he stopped to help someone! Our memory verse from the Bible is Luke 10:27: "He answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Jesus said, to Love the Lord Your God with all of your heart, soul and mind. What does that mean to you?
Can you name a time you helped a friend? Can you name a time you helped someone you did not know? Can you name a time when you helped someone who is usually mean to you?

Today we learned about how the Isrealites trusted God and the walls of Jericho fell down! Our memory verse from the Bible is "Be strong and courageous do not be afraid for the Lord your God will go with you wherever you go"- Joshua 1:9
Have you ever been asked to do something and you do not understand it? What did you do?

This week we talked about how Jesus always provides for our needs, Jesus wants a relationship with us, Jesus loves us no matter what we have done and we can love other people the same way and Jesus is with is all the time to help us through tricky situations. This is still true today! Jesus is the King for ever, our one true God who loves you very much!
