Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tulane University. Broadly, my research interests are public economics, microeconomic theory, development economics, and applied microeconomics, with a focus on bridging the gap between theoretical and empirical work. Specifically, my current research develops sufficient-statistics methods to evaluate and design tax-and-transfer policies—spanning optimal income taxation and multidimensional screening, inverse welfare functions and social welfare weights, and the welfare effects of cash transfer programs.
