4 Players

You Are Here resonates with me as I consider starting points and their impact on end points. Not everyone begins their journey in the same place and with the same resources and opportunities. Most of these disparities are based solely on how, where, and to whom they are born. Many people believe in the myth that anyone can succeed because there are some outliers who have. You hear phrases such as, “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps!”, Implying that a lack of success is the result of a lack of effort. The truth is, many people in challenging circumstances have worked incredibly harder than some people who come from charmed circumstances and still fail because the deck is stacked against them. Equal opportunity is not an honest promise. The greatest indicator for poverty is poverty.

Make your way through the maze and to the center to live a healthy, prosperous life and pass that success on to future generations. All players can succeed.
