I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. Prior to joining the University of Illinois, I received a Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the African School of Economics.

My interests broadly lie in development and labor economics. In my job market paper, I study the implications of job protection and rule-based tenure reforms for employee retention and student learning in Peru.  

I originally hail from Benin, grew up in its most vibrant city, Cotonou, but also lived in various West African cities such as Lomé, Accra and Ouagadougou.

I am on the 2024-2025 Job Market.
