Wild at Heart Basic in the North Woods

Sign-up to attend Wild at Heart Boot Camp Basic in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Wild at Heart Boot Camp Basic is a collection of pre-recorded Boot Camp videos from John Eldredge and his team. The content and presented materials are the exact same as a live Boot Camp experience. The Boot Camp is composed of watching sessions, and then doing self-reflection and answering questions to yourself; no group work/discussions.

Attendees will get the most out of Boot Camp Basic by pre-reading John's book, Wild at Heart.

When:

  • Thursday, October 28 (5pm) - Sunday, October 31 (10am planned departure)

  • Check in between 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Thursday. Event will end around 10:00 AM on Sunday

    • We recognize that Sunday, 10/31 is Halloween and have planned all the content to start early on Sunday, to be viewed in full, and to have you on the road by 10AM

Where:

  • HoneyRock Camp

  • 8660 Honey Rock Rd, Three Lakes, WI 54562

  • ~4.5 hour drive from Minneapolis area

  • ~5.5 hour drive from Chicagoland area

  • **Covid-19 Update** - We will still be having this event, but all attendees must show proof of a negative Covid-19 test, taken on 10/26/2021) or later, to check-in at the camp. Does not matter what kind of test, but must be negative, and to be taken on 10/26/2021 or later. At this point, no masks will be required (subject to change). If you register/pay and end up not being able to attend due to Covid-19, you will be issued a full, 100% refund.

Price:

  • $185

  • Price includes all food (dinner on 10/28 through lunch on 10/31), snacks, lodging, and all event materials.

    • Price does not include transportation to the event.

  • This is a life changing event and we do not want cost to be prohibitive; if costs are an issue for you, please contact one of us re a scholarship opportunity

Sleeping Arrangements:

  • Have rooms with bunk beds; will be 10 guys to a room

  • Room assignments will be random, unless you specify preferred roommates on sign-up sheet; will try to best accommodate roommate requests

  • Bring your own bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets, sleeping bag, etc.), toiletries, and towels

What to Expect:

  • There will be several sessions each day, along with questions to do self-reflection and thinking on

  • To allow the opportunity for self-reflection, there will be several designated time periods of mandatory silence

  • This event is designed to be experienced "off the grid;" it is mandatory that you unplug and only use cell phones in extreme emergencies, and do not carry them around during the weekend

  • Weekend will have periods of free time where we you will have some options, including (dependent on weather and availability): riflery, kayaking, indoor and outdoor climbing walls, mountain biking, extensive hiking trails, archery, High Elements Challenge Course Circuit, Giant Swing, and more

  • There will be a contact number for emergencies
