This Privacy Policy explains how Wikman IT AB ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use the Hen House Helper mobile application ("the App").
Hen House Helper is an agricultural management application that helps farmers track egg production, manage hen houses, and organize poultry farm operations.

When you create an account, we collect:
Email address (when registering with email or Google Sign-In)
Display name (user-provided)
User ID (automatically generated by Firebase)
Account creation timestamp

Farm names and descriptions
Hen house details (name, capacity, breeds, notes)
Egg production records (date, count, breed)
Flock inventory (number of hens, roosters by breed)
Maintenance reminders and schedules
Historical data and trends
We automatically collect:
App crash reports and error logs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Device model and operating system version
App version information
Network connectivity status
If you purchase premium features:
Purchase transaction details are processed by Google Play
We receive confirmation of purchase status (not payment details)

Cloud Storage: Your data is stored in Firebase Firestore, operated by Google LLC
Local Storage: A copy of your data is stored locally on your device for offline access
Encrypted Storage: Sensitive authentication data is stored using AES-256 encryption
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data:
All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Certificate pinning to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks
Encrypted local storage for sensitive data

Farm Collaboration: When you invite others to your farm or join another farm, relevant farm data is shared with farm members
Service Providers: With third-party services listed in Section 5, as necessary to provide the App
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our legal rights
We retain your data for the following periods:

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Open Hen House Helper app
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
Confirm deletion
If you can't access the app, send an email to support@wikman-it.se with:
Subject: "Hen House Helper Account Deletion Request"
Your registered email address
What gets deleted:
- Your account and login credentials
- All farm data, hen houses, egg records (Premium Cloud users)
- Cloud-synced data (Premium Cloud users)
Data retained: None after deletion is complete.
As a data subject in the European Union, you have the following rights:
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
You can update or correct your personal data through the App settings or by contacting us.
You can delete your account and all associated data through the App settings. This will:
Delete your user profile
Delete farms you own (and remove them for all members)
Remove you from farms you are a member of
Delete all your egg records and hen house data
You can request your data in a machine-readable format. Contact us to request an export.
You can request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where processing is based on consent (e.g., push notifications), you can withdraw consent at any time through the App settings.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States, where Firebase servers are located.
These transfers are protected by:
Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
Google's compliance with applicable data protection frameworks
The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@wikman-it.se, and we will delete such information.
