This Privacy Policy explains how WEXI Veck.io Mod Menu ("we", "our", or "the Extension") handles user data and privacy when using our Chrome extension.
1. ZERO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
We respect your privacy completely. The Extension does NOT collect, store, track, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII), browser history, search queries, IP addresses, or device telemetry.
2. LOCAL STORAGE USAGE
The Extension uses Chrome's `chrome.storage.local` API solely to store your non-personal configuration preferences on your local computer. This includes:
- Master Mod Engine enable/disable toggle status
- Auto Keygate bypass preference
- Selected UI accent color (Cyber Cyan, Neon Purple, Emerald Green, Crimson Red)
This data remains strictly on your local browser and is never uploaded to any remote server.
3. NETWORK REQUESTS & EXTERNAL ASSETS
To provide core functionality, the Extension communicates with:
- `veck.io`: To inject the user interface overlay and game enhancement scripts when you visit the game.
- `raw.githubusercontent.com`: To fetch required WEXI theme assets and engine script files.
No tracking parameters or user identification headers are sent with these requests.
4. PERMISSIONS & TRANSPARENCY
All permissions requested in `manifest.json` are strictly minimal and required for core features:
- `storage`: For saving settings locally.
- Host permissions (`veck.io`, `raw.githubusercontent.com`): For target site script injection and remote script fetching.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Extension does not incorporate any third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or tracking pixels) or advertising networks.
6. USER CONTROL & DATA DELETION
You can clear all stored preferences at any time by resetting your browser extension settings or uninstalling the Extension. Uninstalling completely removes all stored local preferences from your browser.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect extension updates or regulatory compliance. Any updates will be published alongside extension releases.
