Since iOS 13, Apple has required apps to hold "location permission" in order to read the connected Wi-Fi name (SSID).
We deliberately decline this permission because we don't need to and don't want to know where you are. The trade-off is that the SSID field may appear blank on iPhone, but everything else (IP, gateway, and so on) works as usual.
Please verify, in order:
The other phone's camera supports Wi-Fi QR codes (the built-in cameras on iPhone iOS 11+ and Android 10+ all do)
The password isn't mistyped (special characters such as semicolon or backslash are sometimes entered incorrectly)
The encryption type matches the network (WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 / WEP / open)
Both devices are within range of a strong Wi-Fi signal
If it still doesn't work, ask the other person to enter the password manually, or take a screenshot of the QR and scan it with a different camera app.
The 5-test daily quota resets at midnight Taiwan time (UTC+8).
No. Sign in on the new phone with the same Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android), open Settings, and tap "Restore Purchase." Pro will be reactivated automatically.
Yes. Pro users can use "Export to Excel" in Settings to save all Wi-Fi entries as an .xlsx file, then import it on the new phone.
The App can only display passwords you yourself saved into it. If your phone system remembers a Wi-Fi password but you never stored it inside this App, you'll need to look it up in your phone's Wi-Fi system settings (iPhone needs iOS 16+ to expose this; Android typically requires root or ADB).
The router default-password list is currently bundled and fixed per release. We add new models in App updates, so please keep auto-update enabled.
iPhone users can enable Apple's Family Sharing — up to six family members can share one Pro unlock. Android users, please see Google Play's Family Library.
