Usage: Video streams are processed locally on your device and transmitted strictly over your local Wi-Fi network to your paired device. No camera feeds are ever sent to cloud servers.
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE)
Purpose: Enables live local audio streaming and sound detection alerts.
Usage: Audio is recorded locally and processed in real time for detection or live listening on your viewer device. Audio data is never uploaded off your local network.
Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE)
Purpose: Ensures the camera stream and motion detection stay active uninterrupted, even when the screen is dimmed or the app is running in the background. A persistent notification is displayed while the foreground service is active.
Local Network & Wi-Fi Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_LOCAL_NETWORK, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE, NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES)
Purpose: Discovers, pairs, and streams live feeds between your camera phone and viewer phone on the same local Wi-Fi network.
Usage: The INTERNET permission is used strictly for binding local network sockets (P2P / Local IP streaming). No external internet servers or tracking services are contacted.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Purpose: Sends instant local alerts to your viewer device when motion or sound is detected, or when connection status changes.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Local Storage Only: All recorded video clips, snapshot images, settings, and logs are saved exclusively on your device's local storage.
Zero Cloud Transfer: We do not maintain cloud servers, user accounts, or external databases.
User Control: You retain full ownership and control of your recorded clips. You can view, export, or delete your recordings directly within the app at any time.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
