Activities and Projects:
Map tests, unit tests, country study projects, Family Heritage Project, cultural fair.
National History Day:
Each student will be participating in National History Day. The students will work on a project of their choosing throughout the year and take part in a North Andrew History Night to see who moves on to the Regional contest in Maryville, then State in Columbia.
Discussion Post:
There will be a monthly discussion post assignment on Google Classroom. Students will have to respond to the discussion post by answering all questions posed with a minimum of 200 words written. Due by the due date each month.
Bell ringer! The World From A to Z:
Students will watch The World From A to Z every day and write down at least 1 fact about each story. Minimum of 5 facts a day. Students will turn in bell ringers at the end of each quarter.
Organization:
Organization is a key part in succeeding in school. Keep a paper or digital folder that contains notes, review sheets, and assignments. *Pro Tip: pin your current note sheet to your bookmark bar.
Grading:
Various assignments are worth a different percentage of the final grade. Any test receiving a failing grade will be retaken within 3 school days earning no higher than 80%. A Parent/Guardian will be contacted.

Daily Participation– 5%
Homework- 25%
Project- 30%
Test- 40%
