National History Day:
Each student will be participating in National History Day. The students will work on a project of their choosing throughout the year, and take part in a District contest at North Andrew. The top projects will move on to regional, state, or national competition.
Discussion Post:
There will be a monthly discussion forum assignment on Google Classroom. Students will have to respond to the discussion post by answering all questions posed with a minimum of 200 words. Due by the due date each month.
Bell ringer! Historical Madness:
Throughout the year, students will research, debate, create projects, and vote for 64 of the most influential leaders/ cultural figures, and determine who was the most influential.

Organization:

Grading:
Various assignments are worth a different percentage of the final grade. Any test receiving a failing grade will be retaken within 3 school days earning no higher than 80%. A Parent/ Guardian will be contacted.
